Brown Thomas Dublin is currently presenting CREATE 2018, the store’s eighth annual celebration of Irish creative talent. Running until Sunday 12th August, CREATE is showcasing 25 Irish designers across ready-to-wear, millinery, jewellery, accessories and interiors.

With displays in a dedicated window and on Level 1, CREATE features a host of new emerging talent and many established Irish labels, including 13 talented Design & Crafts Council of Ireland (DCCoI) clients.

The DCCoI-registered designers and makers who are presenting their work as part of CREATE are internationally renowned leather artist Úna Burke; celebrated accessories designer Ale Walsh; award-winning jewellery designers Bláithín Ennis, Emer Roberts and Helena Malone; knitwear designers Fintan Mulholland and Pearl Reddington; silk scarf and accessories designer Debbie Millington; award-winning milliner Leonora Ferguson; hand printed apparel design studio Jill & Gill; luxury candle company Mookie & Boo; couture cushion designer Katie Larmour; woven textiles design studio Wild Cocoon.

A series of Meet the Designers events is taking place during CREATE, offering visitors to Brown Thomas Dublin a unique opportunity to meet designers in person and learn more about their inspiration and their creative process.

CREATE was initially launched in 2011 during the Year of Craft. Its primary aim is to support the best of Irish talent by taking them out of the studio and onto the shop floor. The annual initiative gives the chosen designers a unique opportunity to have their work sit alongside some of the world’s most prestigious international brands and gain invaluable experience from a leading luxury retailer.
